Dolphin Energy Healing     2010-03-14

Dolphin Energy Healing
Source: http://www.duford.com/2010/03/dolphin-energy-healing/

This is one of the funniest, most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. There are many different kinds of “Spiritual Healing” out there but this one wins the prize for originality and convenience in extirpating money from credulous people. I had never heard of it until an organization called “<a href=”http://www.spiritjourneys<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/Retreat_Dates.php” target=”_blank”>Spirit Journeys <a href=”Panama“>Panama” decided to put on a “retreat” just a couple minutes away from where we live in Altos del Maria.

I burst out in laughter when I read their advertisement card. It lists the usual woo-woo stuff like Reiki and Energy “Medicine”, but the real kickers were Dolphin Energy Healing and Past Life Regression! I had never heard of Dolphin Energy Healing before and I wondered how they were gonna do it without a dolphin so I googled it and found this jewel of a website: Dolphin Heart World. If you have a few minutes to waste, it is worth reading through it just for the entertainment value. Be careful though because you may fry your brain in the process!

To save you some time, here are some of the juiciest parts (emphasis is mine):

Who are the Dolphins, Really?

<img src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/242c8_twospinnersHI7-03.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”" hspace=”2″ vspace=”2″ width=”318″ height=”215″ align=”right” />
Dolphins are master healers and keepers of the light upon Planet Earth. They are highly evolved omni-dimensional beings who live in the Oneness. Their role is similar to that of the angelic kingdom. They are here to watch over us, to help us and support us, and to guide us on our remembrance to radiant wholeness. Their love for humanity is profound.
Like the angels, the dolphins’ influence transcends time, space and physicality. It is not necessary to be in their physical presence to be healed by them and to receive their gifts. Now, more than ever before, humanity as a whole is ready and willing to receive the profound gifts the dolphins have to share.

Now, I agree that dolphins are beautiful, intelligent , and peaceful creatures and that being in their presence can have a very soothing influence, just like pets in a hospital. But this is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard! So much utter non-sense in a single paragraph!

And here’s some info on the “healing” sessions:

In a dolphin energy healing session, you receive the same energy that you would receive if you were swimming with the dolphins physically…and often more!

Hmm, how convenient, very clever!

In a session, you and your Divine Self co-create your experience with the energy and consciousness of the dolphins. Because the dolphins live in the Oneness, they serve as a bridge to All That Is.

Healings can be given in person or remotely by telephone. It’s always amazing how profound these remote healing sessions can be – there truly is no difference if the client is on the massage table or in another part of the world.

And here’s how you should “prepare” yourself”:

Enter into the healing session with an open heart and mind. Release all expectations.

Yeah, it helps if you have no expectations and if you are so “open-minded” that your brain fell out…

Be clear in your intention to release any and all limiting thoughts, beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve you; and be open and willing to receive the higher vibrational frequencies that do.

Again, if you have any “limiting” (i.e. rational) thoughts, this will not work for you. Check your intelligence and rational thinking at the door! Isn’t a frequency by nature “vibrational”? Any time they start to talk about energy and frequencies in this context you know they are full of crap.

Consider investing in a series of sessions. While each session is profound, the healing process is an unwinding of the old, and a bringing-to-the-surface of what’s real and true. A series of sessions allows for the deepest release and the highest level of awakening to occur.

Of course, repeat business is always good. I think they left out a few words in the last sentence though, it should read: “A series of sessions allows for the deepest release of money and the highest level of defrauding to occur.

The sad part is that I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who are falling over each other to “experience” this. It is a natural human tendency to believe in all kinds of such “spiritual” nonsense. The near total lack of science education and critical thinking skills in the general population is to blame here, and it is scary.

A Day in Panama City     2010-03-08

A Day in <a href=”Panama“>Panama City
Source: http://www.duford.com/2010/03/a-day-in-<a href=”Panama“>Panama-city/

Last weekend we had some friends from Costa Rica visiting us and we took them to <a href=”Panama“>Panama City for a day. Of course they wanted to see the <a href=”Panama“>Panama Canal and as luck would have it, a cruise ship was pulling into the Miraflores locks just as we were arriving.

<a href=”http://www.duford.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-1.jpg”><img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-139″ title=”<a href=”Panama“>Panama City-1″ src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/b7f9c_<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-1-400×300.jpg” alt=”" width=”400″ height=”300″ />

Lots of people waving at us.

<a href=”http://www.duford.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-2.jpg”><img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-138″ title=”<a href=”Panama“>Panama City-2″ src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/94195_<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-2-400×300.jpg” alt=”" width=”400″ height=”300″ />

<a href=”http://www.duford.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-3.jpg”><img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-137″ title=”<a href=”Panama“>Panama City-3″ src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/94195_<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-3-400×300.jpg” alt=”" width=”400″ height=”300″ />

Notice how tight it is, I don’t think there was a foot left on either side!

<a href=”http://www.duford.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-4.jpg”><img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-136″ title=”<a href=”Panama“>Panama City-4″ src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/61d0a_<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-4-400×533.jpg” alt=”" width=”400″ height=”533″ />

Then we took them to the Amador Causeway and to historic Casco Viejo where we saw the sun set over the Bridge of the Americas.

<a href=”http://www.duford.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-5.jpg”><img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-135″ title=”<a href=”Panama“>Panama City-5″ src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/61d0a_<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-5-400×533.jpg” alt=”" width=”400″ height=”533″ />

As we were returning to the car, we met this beautiful woman and her girl wearing polleras, the traditional dress of <a href=”Panama“>Panama. They graciously posed for us. Sorry for the crappy flash picture.

<a href=”http://www.duford.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-6.jpg”><img class=”size-medium wp-image-134″ title=”<a href=”Panama“>Panama City-6″ src=”http://www.relocation<a href=”Panama“>Panama.com/info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/61d0a_<a href=”Panama“>Panama-City-6-400×300.jpg” alt=”" width=”400″ height=”300″ />
